BinaryLinoOptions

Struct BinaryLinoOptions

Source
pub struct BinaryLinoOptions {
    pub external_references: bool,
    pub arity: ArityRange,
    pub packed_widths: bool,
}
Expand description

Optional features of the binary LiNo protocol.

Every feature is off by default; each one can be switched on independently, like stacking a decorator.

Fields§

§external_references: bool

Send numbers and code points as Hybrid external references instead of in-band unary links. Halves the internal address range of each width.

§arity: ArityRange

The link lengths the encoder may use. The default, exactly 2, sends only doublets; 2..3 adds triplets and 1.. any length. The range must include 2.

§packed_widths: bool

Give every section of the packet the narrowest width its links need instead of one width for the whole packet.

Implementations§

Source§

impl BinaryLinoOptions

Source

pub fn with_external_references(self, enabled: bool) -> Self

Enables or disables external references.

Source

pub fn with_arity(self, arity: ArityRange) -> Self

Sets the link lengths the encoder may use.

Source

pub fn with_packed_widths(self, enabled: bool) -> Self

Enables or disables packed widths.

Source

pub fn of_packet(packet: &LinksPacket) -> Self

The options a peer most likely used to write packet, so a reply can be written in the same style.
